It’s hard to believe that November is here already! Hopefully you’ve had some time to explore the region and enjoy the beautiful scenery that comes with the fall season. This month, there are plenty of exciting events coming to Burlington, so mar your calendars!
The Artsy Mistake Mystery – November 5 The Art Gallery of Burlington will host the book launch of a new book by award-winning Burlington author Sylvia McNicoll. Readings will take place at 2:15, 2:45, 3:15 and 3:45 p.m. A Different Drummer Books will be at the AGB selling the book.
Canada Club – November 15 Kids aged 6-9 are invited to discover Canada from coast to coast through a variety of fun, interactive activities. Event will take place at the Alton Branch Burlington Public Library from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Visit https://www.bpl.on.ca for more info.
Rotary Burlington Music Festival: 2017 Grand Festival Concert – November 18 Aimed at cultivating the musical talent of local youth, the Rotary Burlington Music Festival will run during November, culminating in the wonderful Grand Festival Concert on November 18 at 7 p.m. at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. AGB Soup Bowl Event – November 23 - 26 The 21st Annual Soup Bowl and AGB Christmas Sale will take place this month, once again raising funds for kids programming. Get a head start on your holiday shopping, enjoy a delicious meal and help support local artisans and restaurateurs! The AGB will be serving up delicious soups from local restaurants, presented in beautifully handcrafted bowls donated by regional potters. A Passage to Bollywood – November 24 Get your tickets to this vibrant stage musical filled with foot tapping music, colourful costumes and a gripping plot that keeps you at the edge of your seat, covering various aspects of the Indian Bollywood culture.
